Connectivity is not just a convenience, but a necessary democratizing force and an essential human need, profoundly impacting women's role in the global economy. However, expanding current connectivity networks is unsustainable. The high inefficiency (10%-20%) of current electronics means the energy required to connect all would exceed global generation capacity, wasting energy and contributing to environmental heating. Elve is developing a science-driven solution to sustainable connectivity: TWTAs. This technology operates in lossless media (pure vacuum), ensuring the signal is energized during transport in empty space. TWTAs are highly efficient, minimize heat rejection, and do not require exotic materials. For a century, technology behind TWTAs has been the backbone of our invisible infrastructure, powering scientific discoveries, cancer treatment, weather mapping, and more.
