Camber Creek led the $3.7 million Seed round for TwinKnowledge, which is tackling an important problem in the built environment. Construction projects get delayed and rework is required because of discrepancies across construction documents, submittals, requests for information, design, and other plans. TwinKnowledge’s AI Agents absorb structured and unstructured project data, surfacing and preventing conflicts before the work begins. We’re excited about our partnership with CEO Ivan Panushev and his team. #construction #AEC #AI #technology https://ow.ly/mBYX50VtaVG

Every great product starts with a problem you know too well. For me, it was the inefficiency of pre-development — the hours spent chasing data and decoding zoning regulations. That’s the challenge we’re solving with ArchiWise AI — making research automated, accurate, and fast. #ArchiWiseAI #AIzoningexpert #AIsiteselection #realestatesoftware
Our Co-Founder Christopher Vardanyan shares what inspired him to create ArchiWise AI 👇 "With 7+ years in real estate development, I’ve seen how tedious, costly, and frustrating pre-development processes can be. Complicated zoning codes and PDFs, lengthy visibility studies, due diligence, and permits — the early stages of every project can slow you down before a single shovel hits the ground. That’s why we created ArchiWise AI: a platform built by someone who knows the industry from the inside, to help developers, architects, and planners reclaim their time, cut costs, and improve processes. We believe the future of pre-development is smarter, faster, and AI-powered — a world where research is automated, decisions are data-driven, and frustration is gone." 👉 See it for yourself: Book a demo or start a 7-day free trial today! 👉 https://www.archiwise.ai/ #ArchiAiseAI #AIzoningexpert #AIsiteselection #realestateAI #realestatesoftware #AIcopilot

Certification challenge submission: EstimAI by Will Holt - an agentic RAG application that uses vision models to help construction teams process and get insights from construction plans. Built as part of the AI Engineering Bootcamp https://lnkd.in/g96iKq4f
🚀 Just Completed My AI Engineering Bootcamp Certification Project! I'm excited to share EstimAI-RAG POC - a multi-agent system that transforms construction takeoff from days long manual process into a 30-second automated workflow. I'm building new agents every day to handle all phases of construction project estimating. The Problem: Construction estimating requires meticulous quantity takeoff across every project phase - from foundations to finishes. Estimators spend days manually counting, measuring, and quantifying items from construction blueprints. They must cross-reference multiple drawing sheets, decode material abbreviations, calculate volumes and lengths, verify code compliance, and ensure nothing is missed or double-counted. A single error - whether in sitework, structural, MEP, or finishes - can result in thousands or millions of dollars in bid mistakes or construction overruns. My Solution: (Proof of Concept - Sitework): 🏗️ An AI system that reads construction plans like a human expert: *Upload a PDF blueprint → Get complete validated takeoff *Vision AI extracts pipes, materials, and measurements *Multi-agent validation pipeline checks against construction codes *RAG knowledge base (Qdrant) validates materials and standards *External API research (Tavily) handles unknown materials *100% counting accuracy across all test cases AI Makerspace Dr. Greg Loughnane Chris "The Wiz 🪄" Alexiuk Laura Funderburk Jacob Kilpatrick Chris Lusk🕵️♂️ #construction #estimating #AI https://lnkd.in/e-mPGAQC

AI isn’t replacing people. It’s helping the next generation learn faster. I spoke with Drew Huser, PE, MBA recently, who built his own conceptual 3D earthwork takeoff software, just because he needed it. He also shared Sonar Labs' Estimator GPT with his team, and the feedback was amazing. They weren’t using it to replace experience or upload proprietary data. They were using it to bridge a gap. His younger PEs and co-ops were using it to ask smarter questions, the kind you only learn after years in the field. When they didn’t know how to describe what they needed or where to start, the GPT gave them construction-specific context and helped them find the right direction. AI isn’t ever going to replace estimators or PMs. But helping with change management, capturing and transferring the kind of tribal knowledge that usually retires with people. In this industry, relationships are built on communication. And communication depends on shared understanding. Tools like this can help build that bridge. Big thanks to Drew for sharing this story. This is exactly why we built it. #constructiontech #AIinConstruction #knowledge #preconstruction #estimating

We’re officially out of stealth. 📢 Over the past year, we’ve been working closely with AEC firms to answer a simple question: How can AI actually deliver lasting value in construction workflows? Today, we’re launching Nonlinear - the adaptive AI workflow builder that gives project teams the building blocks to design, reuse, and scale automations across their entire firm. With Nonlinear, AEC teams can: - Automate submittal reviews and instantly flag non-compliant materials - Accelerate QA/QC by identifying discrepancies across specs and drawings - Speed up estimating by structuring data from PDFs - Extract products from specifications and find better alternatives for value engineering To support this vision, we’ve raised a $1.1M pre-seed round led by Unusual Ventures, alongside leading industry angel investors who bring deep experience in construction and technology. When AI is applied to the right workflows, the impact on construction projects is immediate. That’s why we built Nonlinear. Over the past year in stealth, I’ve had the privilege of working directly with our early customers - from design-build contractors to specialty engineering firms. Having worked in construction, I’ve seen how all project information runs through PDFs including drawings, proposals, RFPs, bids, etc. Every process, from submittal review to QA/QC checks, bid leveling, and estimating, is about pulling data from one document and re-entering it into another. When AI takes over those steps entire project schedules shift. - 40+ hours saved per project - Fewer RFIs and errors - Faster delivery for owners And hearing quotes like this remind me why we’re building: “Nonlinear has simplified a process that once pulled time from multiple people. Now, our workflows are clear, efficient, and easier on the entire team.” - Denise Davis, Gulf Coast Underground These kinds of results are what make the long nights worth it. Excited to share our official launch today. #AEC #ConstructionTechnology #AI

I’m thrilled to finally share that after a year in stealth, we’re launching Nonlinear - a modular AI workflow builder for Architecture, Engineering & Construction teams. With Nonlinear, firms can package prompts, business logic, and project data into reusable workflows that scale across projects and teams. Instead of one-off experiments, AI becomes something consistent that the whole organization can rely on. Our vision is to help every AEC firm turn its best practices and data into workflows that can be applied across every project and every team. At scale, this means fewer errors, faster delivery, and an industry that spends less time on repetitive tasks and more time designing and building the world around us. It’s still early, but we’ve already seen firms like Preload and Gulf Coast Underground transform how they handle estimating and submittal review with Nonlinear. That impact is what motivates us to keep building. I couldn’t be prouder of our team, our early customers, and our investors for believing in this vision.

I still remember watching an estimator juggle six spreadsheets, a shared drive, and a pile of RFIs just to keep a project moving. That was my “AHA!” moment. The problem wasn’t productivity, it was structure. The brightest people in construction aren’t struggling to work harder; they’re struggling to work through outdated workflows. Every RFI, change order, and drawing revision adds another layer of friction to a system that should move as smoothly as concrete being poured. That’s where AI comes in, not as another shiny tool, but as an architectural redesign for how information flows. At AHAConsulting.AI, we’re helping construction teams replace disconnected spreadsheets with connected intelligence. AI organizes, predicts, and surfaces what matters most, so field teams spend less time hunting for answers and more time building. Because when information moves freely, projects move forward. The real power of AI in construction isn’t automation, it’s liberation. It gives people back their time, focus, and confidence to build what truly matters. Curious how this could look inside your workflows? Let’s talk about it. #rebootinglifewithAI #abundancethroughkindness #AIinConstruction #AIProjectManagement #FutureOfWork

Yesterday, I had an incredible conversation with Jeff Carmichael and Deepansh Kathuria about specs, automation, and the future of construction workflows. We talked about how specs - especially in public projects - aren’t just documents. They’re living rulesets that define compliance, risk, and design intent. Jeff shared how his system is turning specs into a knowledge graph - mapping relationships across materials, standards, and referenced clauses. That kind of structure is what makes meaningful AI review possible. But here’s what struck me: Even with the smartest AI, you still need human expertise to interpret why something changed, what it impacts, and who it affects. AI can connect the dots across thousands of pages. Humans decide which dots actually matter. That’s exactly the balance we think about at ZipBoard - combining AI-driven insight with expert review to create speed and trust in document workflows. Because in construction (and everywhere else), speed is nice - but context is critical.
