Ryan Daniels’ Post

This is surreal. One of my favorite writers spent over a month writing an in-depth profile of Crosby. This included several weeks in our office, 25 meetings, endless hours of research. The end result is sensational. We'll be re-reading Nicole Seah's work in a generation. She is archiving the companies "on the frontier," telling vivd, layered stories about what's really going on in the AI revolution. I can't believe we were lucky enough to be one of them. Link is in the comments below. I can't wait for the world to better understand what we've been up to in our frenetic, bustling Soho office!

I distinctly remember our first conversation in the office in soho. Immediate affinity! Was so energized I wrote down notes. I kept stewing on the concept of a neofirm and what it might mean for white collar work more broadly - what happens to the lawyer, the banker, the consultant when the very backbone of professional services has to change? Getting to witness the inner workings of Crosby felt like seeing the future.

What a great read @Nicole Seah. Excited to see Crosby rebuild the delivery model rather than bolt AI onto the old one — and keep it human. Two things stayed with me: Bijan Motiwalla's framing that when you own the relationship end to end, "you own trust" — that's the clearest answer I've seen to why AI-native doesn't mean forfeiting the trusted-advisor role. The measurement discipline. Online evals catching regressions on every generated edit, lawyers tuning the judges, output graded against what a reviewer actually sent. Most enterprises deploying AI at this scale still can't tell you whether their output quality is improving or degrading. Compress the mechanical work and the relational work gets more valuable, not less.
