Thank you NACAS East for a fantastic conference and welcoming us into your community. We were lucky to moderate and sit on a "Mission Meets Margin" panel that explored how a multi-stakeholder partnership that Saxbys orchestrates between auxiliary services, dining partners, and academics can turn campus retail into experiential learning platforms — where students lead real businesses with P&L responsibility while earning academic credit. Huge thanks to our co-panelists and partners: Katybeth Lee and Lauren Hay from Virginia Commonwealth University, Bryan Kelly from Aramark, and Kris Klinger, Ed.D. Boston University. It was a true full-circle moment: we reconnected with VCU at NACAS East in 2025, shared the stage with them in 2026, and we're celebrating a grand opening this August.
