Not to argue, but I truly believe the application features and user flow is totally separate from UI/UX. The real problem is to understand what should be in app, and what shouldn't, and how it's should "work". (engineering) Then the UI/UX designer can take it and make beautiful designs of it. (UI/UX) But making designers create the functionalities - sounds like asking engineers to design apps.
Worldwide or only in Germany?
That’s the salary you need to offer for top 10% design talent, especially as an early / mid stage startup. And being upfront with it (looking at you, rest of Germany). Sharing with designers in my network.

Don’t you find it curious that your 'only apply if you...' criteria would realistically apply to 99% of people interested in the role? It strikes me as a rather trivial and generic filter—especially considering that even the most impeccably qualified candidates are ultimately just purchasing a ticket in what remains, at its core, a glorified lottery.
