Google have kept clear blue water between AI in search results (AI Mode, AI Overviews), and their standalone AI app Gemini. Liz Reid, head of Google search, said last week that the two are diverging in some areas, and that the rise of AI agents may mean "the right product is neither". If the biggest player is hedging their bets, we can be sure that this is a moment of flux - the industry is poised to follow users in how they adopt the tools available to them. #DigitalMarketing #Kinase #Gemini #AgenticAI

Google is turning Maps into a conversational AI experience. Ask Maps, powered by Gemini, lets users ask location and trip-planning questions directly inside Google Maps on mobile. This points to a broader shift where everyday apps are moving from menus and search boxes toward natural-language interfaces. The biggest AI question I’m hearing right now is pretty simple: how do you move quickly without losing control of your data? That’s exactly what Egnyte just addressed with AI Safeguards — giving teams more granular, auditable control over how AI interacts with sensitive content. We also embedded the AI Assistant directly into the desktop app, where most day-to-day work is already happening. Makes it a lot easier to use AI in the flow of work instead of adding another tool to manage. Curious how others are thinking about AI governance right now. #egnyte #AI #DataGovernance

MVP class by Joseph Brendan officially kicked off yesterday, and today we got hands-on. We explored using an AI agent (AntiGravity) and tested the concept of MVP by building a simple ToDo app. What stood out was seeing everything come to life in real time: – Input fields responding instantly – Buttons triggering actions – Tasks being added, completed, and removed seamlessly It also introduced me to a faster, more intuitive way of building using AI to quickly turn ideas into working products. This is just the starting point, but it’s already shifting how I think about building products. Now, I’m focused on applying this approach to solve real world problems and build something people actually need. #MVP #AI #ProductBuilding

Your algorithm has tricked you into thinking everyone already knows how far AI has advanced because that’s what you see on a daily basis. Your next client will most likely not know what Claude is. Even if they do, they probably won’t have the time to sit down and start prompting AI to create an app or site, what specific features it will have, or even how to go about it in general because other parts of their business takes more of their time. You can only be replaced by AI if you’re trying to satisfy an audience just as technical as you are. Pivot to serving a non-technical audience and see how large the gap is to fill.

AI is slowly becoming part of everything we use. Google recently integrated Gemini into Chrome, enabling multilingual AI browsing support. From a strategy perspective, this is smart. Improving a product billions already use daily helps Google keep users inside its ecosystem. #BusinessStrategy #AI #Google #Innovation #TechTrends #LearningJourney

What if every website was created in real time? 😳 It's a interesting thought experiment 👇 What if there are no websites and no apps? What if every pixel you see on a screen is generated for you in real time by AI? To be clear, I don't think this will happen. But people like Elon and others have suggested that everything we see on a screen will be a "stream" of AI generated pixels. Watch this video where one of the fastest AI models from Google generates the website you "search" for in real time. Just incredible.

More and more people are asking AI tools directly for product advice. Instead of browsing through search results, systems like ChatGPT generate answers based on the information they can interpret online. This shift introduces a new concept: Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). For organizations with large product assortments, this makes structured product data even more important. Squadra shared an interesting article explaining the concept: 👉 https://lnkd.in/e6UN5b8f #AI #Ecommerce #ProductData
