Day 17 | Heather Carver, CCO & Emily Robinson, VP of Marketing at tvScientific ✨ Two Leaders. One Mission. Uplifting the Next Generation.✨ 💬 Emily Robinson | Can you describe the difference in how you show up when you started your career vs. now? "Early in my career, I showed up wanting to prove I belonged in the room. I was thoughtful, but often quieter, waiting until I felt completely certain before speaking. Today, I show up with a stronger sense of ownership and perspective. Leadership is not about having every answer, but about asking the right questions and creating clarity for others. I speak up earlier, connect dots across teams, and make space for others to contribute. The biggest shift is confidence in my voice - from experience, pattern recognition, and understanding how decisions compound over time. That openness builds trust and creates a culture where growth is continuous rather than performative." 👀 Rising star shoutout: Emily Duncan, MBA, Content Marketing Manager "Emily joined tvScientific and quickly made an impact shaping how the company tells its story. She leads editorial strategy and develops content that educates advertisers while positioning tvScientific at the center of the growing Performance TV conversation. What makes her stand out is her ability to combine strong storytelling with real marketing outcomes - translating complex technology into clear, engaging narratives across blogs, research, social media, and executive thought leadership. Emily is already proving she is one of those leaders." 💬 Heather Carver | What's one piece of advice you would give to the next generation of women? "Don't wait to be chosen. Choose yourself. I asked for the promotion. I raised my hand for the panel. I put myself in rooms where I wanted to be, even when I felt uncomfortable. Was I always 100% ready? Of course not. Growth happens when you stretch. Say yes to speaking opportunities. Ask for the next level before someone offers it. Lean into curiosity. Build trust through consistency, follow-through, and results. Develop emotional intelligence - leadership is about people as much as performance. And carry a positive attitude. Optimism is magnetic. It means facing challenges with resolve, resilience, and grace." 👀 Rising star shoutout: Katie Ingrassia, Head of Customer Success "Katie has been at tvScientific for three years - part of performance CTV since its early days, well before it became the buzzword it is today. She started in yield and performance operations, so she truly understands how the systems work. But she pairs that with strong client instincts - translating complexity into outcomes and building trust. She is empathetic, steady, and thoughtful, but not afraid to voice an opinion when she sees an opportunity or a risk. Leaders who can bridge analytics, operations, and client strategy are rare. Watch her." #WomensHistoryMonth #31DaysOfAdvancingWomen #tvScientific
