You rock! A strong board will be a strategic partner to Management, and think about the business for the long term, not micro manage to make short term decisions to try and artificially manage the stock price, which never works in the long run for returns.
Strong boards matter most when science is uncertain and timelines are long which is exactly where biopharma lives. Governance isn’t about prestige, it’s about asking the right questions early enough to change trial design, risk exposure, and capital efficiency.
