Getting your Bottom Line Up Front doesn't mean you're done. AI has a sneaky habit of adding a lot of extra words and padding that you don't need. Here's an example of something AI produced to create guidelines for my content team. Open with a real, specific hook in the first line. A number, a confession, a moment. No throat clearing. One grounded story or one clear point, then a single takeaway. Before, turn, takeaway for coaching stories. Never invent a framework or a personal detail. Use the exact cataloged names and stories. There's a lot happening here that feels a little extra. In the first sentence alone, we could cut out two-thirds of it. I would take out a number, a confession, a moment. I don't even fully understand what no throat clearing means here. In the second bullet, I take out the second sentence. And then in the third, I take out the second sentence as well.
