Adding footprint roofs

The footprint roof tool is a great tool for creating many traditional forms of flat or sloped roofs. It is ideal for shapes like sheds, hips, and gables. So I'm going to go to the Architecture tab. And I'm starting in a floor plan view. And I want to click on the Roof by Footprint tool. That will put me in Sketch mode. And I can tell that I'm in Sketch mode because the drawing will gray out. I'll see the presence of the large red X and green checkbox buttons and the tinted green ribbon tab. The default tool in the sketch mode for footprint roof is pick walls and typically this will be the easiest way for you to create the sketch for the footprint roof you're creating by simply clicking the walls that the roof will sit on top of. But before we begin creating the sketch, I just want to verify a few of the settings over here on Properties palette.
