Generative expand in Photoshop

Have you ever had to submit a professional headshot for a conference or publication of some sort, which required a specific aspect ratio that simply wasn't available in your existing portrait collection? Maybe you just need a little more space to fill in the background of an existing image, instead of having to perform a complete reshoot. Generative Expand in Photoshop is an excellent solution for these common problems. We can see a portrait of a woman right here and it is very closely cropped. There's not a lot of room around it. So if she needed to submit this headshot to fulfill specifications for something being, let's say a one-to-one ratio or social media, be nearly impossible and at least a very arduous and time-consuming task to try to do that manually. Of course, performing a reshoot is probably out of the question as well. So to use Generative Expand in Photoshop, the easiest way to do it is to actually access our Crop tool.
