Video Editor (Full-Time, In Person) Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a high-level video editor who understands:

• Pacing
• Retention
• Story structure
• Hook optimization
• Sound design
• Visual impact
• What makes content go viral

We are looking for someone who thinks like a strategist — not just someone who cuts clips together.

What You’ll Do Long-Form YouTube Editing

• Edit box breaks, vlogs, podcast episodes, shop tours, and event coverage
• Structure videos for retention and engagement
• Enhance storytelling with pacing, sound design, and graphics
• High level montages and intros to promote events and vlogs

Short-Form Content Creation

• Create high-performing TikToks, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Identify viral moments from long-form content
• Add captions, hooks, fast pacing, motion graphics, and retention edits
• Optimize for platform-specific trends

Motion Graphics & Montafes

• Use After Effects for motion graphics and visual impact
• Create dynamic montages and hype sequences
• Contribute to branding consistency

Workflow & Execution

• Manage multiple projects at once
• Hit daily posting deadlines
• Organize and maintain file systems
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced content environment
• Open to travel

Required Skills

• 3+ years of high-level editing experience
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong proficiency in After Effects
• Experience editing for YouTube
• Experience editing vertical short-form content
• Strong understanding of retention and pacing
• Ability to work in person in Grove City, Ohio
• Portfolio demonstrating storytelling and performance-driven edits

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with YouTube and Social Media analytics
• Experience with podcast editing
• Experience with thumbnail strategy
• Color grading knowledge
• Sound design experience
• Understanding of social media trends
