Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspire, coach, and hold sales teams accountable to hitting departmental revenue targets.
  • Design compelling sales campaigns and customer-facing presentations that drive results.
  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships that generate consistent repeat business.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to grow and diversify the sales territory.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to strengthen and support sales initiatives.
  • Stay current on product updates, specifications, and new launches by maintaining close coordination with relevant departments.
  • Travel as needed to support customer relationships and business development efforts.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay sharp in a competitive market.
  • Conduct market analysis and translate insights into targeted strategies that capture new business.
  • Monitor competitive pricing and market conditions to set and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts to guide organizational planning and decision-making.
  • Own divisional budgeting on an annual basis and deliver regular performance reporting to leadership.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of success managing both wholesale and e-commerce (.com) sales channels.
  • Hands-on experience selling directly to major big box retailers including Home Depot, Lowe's, and Walmart is required.

  • Deep understanding of the full sales cycle with the ability to gather, interpret, and act on data to drive strategy.
  • Skilled relationship builder who earns customer trust and turns single transactions into long-term partnerships.
  • Able to connect sales execution to broader corporate objectives and ensure team efforts ladder up to company goals.
  • Exceptional communicator across all levels — from frontline teams to executive leadership to external partners.
  • Creative thinker who approaches challenges with fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.
  • Thrives in a high-volume environment managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly self-directed with a bias toward action and ownership.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related business tools.
