Position: Gikuyu Language Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 - $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Translate written materials from English to Gikuyu and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Review and edit Gikuyu language content for grammar, style, tone, and clarity.
• Assess, annotate, and evaluate text data to provide input for AI model development.
• Collaborate with the customer's team to deliver high-quality linguistic insights and recommendations.
• Maintain the consistency and integrity of Gikuyu language usage across various projects.
• Contribute to innovative language tasks that may include localization, data annotation, and linguistic analysis.

Requirements

• Have native proficiency in Gikuyu, with advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a strong command of English, including professional writing and editing capabilities.
• Have demonstrated experience with written content creation, review, and editing.
• Have expertise in translation between English and Gikuyu.
• Exhibit excellent attention to detail and a passion for linguistic accuracy.
