Technical Architect

We are seeking a Technical Architect with strong Insurance industry experience to drive architecture strategy and technology modernization within a cloud-first, AI-enabled enterprise environment.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who can design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across modern cloud platforms and existing enterprise systems, helping evolve the technology landscape while supporting critical insurance business capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Solution Design
• Translate insurance domain and business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures
• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions across applications, data platforms, and cloud services
• Develop architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical documentation
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security frameworks, and technology roadmaps
• Define integration patterns for APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures

Legacy Modernization & Platform Evolution

• Support modernization initiatives for legacy insurance platforms
• Define strategies for system refactoring, replatforming, or migration to cloud architectures
• Design hybrid architectures integrating enterprise systems with cloud-native services
• Enable API-driven service exposure and modern integration layers

Cloud Architecture

• Design scalable architectures using Azure (preferred) or AWS.

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Identify opportunities to apply Generative AI, AI/ML, and automation within insurance processes
• Design architectures integrating AI services with enterprise applications and data platforms
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to support AI model deployment and operationalization
• Ensure adherence to responsible AI practices, governance, and data privacy

Solution Delivery & Collaboration

• Partner with business leaders, product teams, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams
• Provide architectural guidance to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards
• Support delivery teams during implementation and solution rollout
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to integration, modernization, scalability, and AI adoption

Qualifications

• Insurance industry experience
• 6–10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or Senior Engineering roles
• Experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems and integration architectures
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred or AWS)
• Experience designing API-driven architectures and integration frameworks
• Experience producing architecture documentation and solution diagrams
• Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar)
• Knowledge of AI/ML platforms and enterprise AI use cases
• Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization initiatives
