The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQA Engineer to join our quality assurance team and play a key role in delivering high-quality software products. In this hands-on senior role, you will drive testing efforts from early planning through post-release validation, ensuring our web-based (cloud) and instrument software applications meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and usability in a fast-paced Agile environment.

 Responsibilities

  • Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.

  • Provide early feedback during planning and design phases.

  • Develop detailed test plans, test strategies, and well-structured test cases.

  • Define test coverage and validate alignment with product requirements.

  • Execute comprehensive functional, system, regression, and exploratory tests.

  • Identify edge cases, workflow inconsistencies, and usability issues.

  • Validate software behavior across web-based and desktop environments.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear, reproducible detail.

  • Work closely with developers to triage issues and verify fixes.

  • Perform thorough manual regression testing before releases.

  • Ensure that all critical functionality behaves as expected prior to deployment.

  • Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

 Requirements

  • Strong professional background in software quality assurance, preferably in senior or lead roles.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with manual and exploratory testing.

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and software development processes.

  • Expertise in writing clear, detailed test plans and test cases.

  • Experience testing web-based (cloud) and desktop applications.

  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.

  • Experience working within an Agile development environment.

  • Basic familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes (as a tester/consumer, not as an automation developer).

  • Experience with performance, stability, or security testing (manual or tool-assisted).
