We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee advanced accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. This role is critical to managing month-end closings, financial analysis, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Based in Dallas, Texas, the position also involves contributing to audits, budgeting, and process enhancements.
Responsibilities: • Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements to maintain accuracy and completeness. • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in alignment with U.S. accounting standards. • Analyze financial data to identify trends, address variances, and recommend actionable solutions. • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and conducting variance analysis to support financial planning. • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure best practices within the accounting function. • Maintain and update cash flow forecasts by collaborating with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections teams. • Provide backup support for the Accounts Payable Manager as needed. • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles with strong attention to detail. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and applicable standards. • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities in a dynamic environment. • Proficiency in month-end close processes, journal entries, general ledger management, and account reconciliations. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvement opportunities. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
