Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases and writing complex queries to support data analysis and reporting needs. You will work closely with data analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and optimize database performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
  • Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and schema design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database structures and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Support reporting and analytics initiatives by providing reliable data sources.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
  • Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
