Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and schema design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Create and maintain documentation for database structures and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Support reporting and analytics initiatives by providing reliable data sources.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
- Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
