This leader in the entertainment industry has an immediate long-term contract opportunity in San Diego, CA seeks SDET. This position requires working onsite Monday-Friday.

Contract Duration: 6 Month Contract (Possible Extension)

Job Description

This role will test software services to realize true automated application security to protect our customers, our product and our business.

Strong technical background and analytical thinking is expected, and the ideal candidate will be involved in testing applications written in Java, JavaScript, Python and Golang, for Application Security automation.

• Work with software engineers to develop test plans for features.
• Document and maintain test plans.
• Document and perform functional, integration and regression testing.
• Develop automated tests for web user interfaces and web service APIs.
• Develop performance tests for web user interfaces and web service APIs.
• Support continuous improvement project quality.

Skill Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI, API and End-To-End testing. Test case design and automation for web applications.
• Experience with one or more testing frameworks including Selenium or Playwrite.
• Experience working with JMeter to do performance testing.
• Experience developing automated performance tests.
• Experience testing applications that use relational databases and third party web services.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with the Java and JavaScript programming languages.

Prefer experience with Application Security Tool like SAST, SCA, and DAST

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
