Role Description
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own and elevate Cravings’ brand social channels, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok. This role blends organic social planning, content calendar management, platform-native concepting, publishing, community management, reporting, and hands-on content capture/editing as needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and able to proactively identify what content is needed across product launches, retail moments, partnerships, recipes, founder moments, and seasonal campaigns, while coordinating closely with Chrissy’s social team on founder-channel opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Social Strategy, Planning & Calendar Ownership
Own and manage Cravings’ brand social channels, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok, while coordinating with Chrissy’s social team on founder-channel moments and asset needs
Lead social planning and publishing for Cravings’ Instagram and TikTok channels, while supporting cross-channel coordination for founder, retail, PR, and partnership moments
Own the weekly and monthly social content calendar, proactively mapping out content needs across evergreen storytelling, product education, retail support, launches, founder moments, partnerships, and cultural/seasonal moments
Translate brand and business priorities into clear, actionable social plans
Content Planning & Execution
Build and manage the social content calendar, identifying what content is needed across launches, retail moments, partnerships, recipes, founder moments, and seasonal campaigns
Oversee concepting, asset needs, publishing, and scheduling across all social channels
Ensure a consistent, elevated brand voice across all platforms
Content Creation
Shoot and edit platform-native short-form video as needed
Help concept formats, hooks, and asset needs for Reels, TikTok, Stories, and other social content
Partner with the creative team on higher production shoots and campaigns
Continuously test and iterate on formats to improve performance
Influencer, Gifting & Partnerships (Support)
Support social planning for influencer, gifting, and partnership moments by translating confirmed deliverables into the Cravings social calendar
Partner with the marketing team and agency partners to track creator content, identify repost opportunities, and ensure partnership content is reflected in the social calendar
Build UGC creator campaigns, choose creators, and plan use of posts
Community Management
Manage day-to-day engagement across platforms including comments, DMs, and tags
Build a strong, loyal community through authentic, on-brand interaction
Identify and elevate UGC opportunities
Analytics & Performance
Track, analyze, and report on social performance metrics
Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and growth
Use data to inform content decisions, timing, and platform focus
Stay on top of platform changes, trends, and best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with marketing, eCommerce, and retail teams to support key business initiatives
Align social with product launches, retailer expansion, PR moments, and partnerships
Coordinate closely with Chrissy’s team to support founder-channel needs and opportunities
Who You Are
3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally in CPG, food, or lifestyle brands
Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok and what drives performance
Strong content creator who can concept, shoot, and edit compelling social content
Highly organized and proactive, with a strong ability to plan ahead and manage multiple workstreams
Data-informed but creative, with a strong instinct for what will resonate
Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving, high-growth environment
Passion for food, culture, and building brands people love
