Senior Technical Success Manager

WHAT YOU’LL DO.

As a Senior Technical Success Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both our clients and Client Success team by providing technical expertise and guidance. You will ensure that our platform is successfully implemented and tailored to meet client needs, driving business impact and satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Becoming an expert in the Tracer platform and leveraging your knowledge of analytic workflows to address complex technical challenges.
  • Supporting the Client Success team with technical insights to enhance their ability to serve clients effectively.
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple projects/tickets with a focus on organization, efficiency, and delivering exceptional outcomes. Knowledge of ticketing systems is important for this role
  • Providing clear and actionable documentation, platform authorizations, and tailored technical guidance to clients.
  • Acting as a bridge between clients and internal teams, effectively communicating advanced technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identifying and vetting client requests and opportunities that could scale into broader product features.
  • Serving as a solution-oriented advisor, helping partners maximize the value of our platform for their unique business goals.


This role does not involve building software but requires deep technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships with both clients and internal teams.


KEY SKILLS.

  • Technical problem solving: Strong technical acumen in all aspects of approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Project management capabilities: This candidate will be managing long- and short-term projects. Included with this work is managing timelines, keeping all stakeholders up to date and driving the process forward. Attention to detail is an absolute must. Experience with a formal project management method and/or training is a plus.
  • Strong written + verbal communication skills: This candidate will interact with our largest clients and partners. It’s important to provide timely, professional guidance while making sure projects stay on track. Candidates will also be responsible for keeping the client and team up to date on the status of projects and key integrations.
  • Ability to influence: Inputs on product come from all points across our client contact spectrum. This role will be responsible for advising clients on best possible solutions. This person will become a technical expert and must be able to act accordingly to consult with clients on their best solution. 
  • Consultative guidance: Ability to act as a strong and confident consultant to our clients, providing clear guidance, maintaining an unflappable presence, and asking the right questions to deliver the best solution.
  • Quick learner: The ideal candidate must be able to quickly grasp, understand and educate others on new technical subjects.


WHO YOU ARE.

  • 6+ years of work experience in a technical, client-facing role.
  • Proficiency in SQL (3yrs+) to create production level queries and use QA.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and related file formats (e.g., CSV).
  • Experience with python for data analysis, automation, or integration work
  • Knowledge of web technologies/web programming languages, AWS S3 and APIs is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, Google LookerStudio and other BI tools.
  • Experience with digital advertising technology is a plus.
  • Demonstrable creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform at a high level in a fluid, fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience working across client success, product and engineering teams - with the ability to break down complex concepts to non-technical internal and external stakeholders.
