Senior Infrastructure Engineer - NYC Hybrid

My client is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to take the lead on shaping and executing their cloud infrastructure strategy across the US. What you’ll be doing

• Owning and delivering the US cloud infrastructure strategy
• Keeping all cloud assets secure, updated, and running at peak performance
• Auditing the cloud environment to uncover cost savings, optimizations, and improvements
• Ensuring the team produces scalable, secure, high-quality infrastructure solutions
• Working with cross-functional teams to align cloud capabilities with business needs
• Driving ongoing improvements in tools, processes, and technologies
• Defining and tracking key operational metrics
• Maintaining best practices across security, compliance, and operational excellence
• Collaborating with global stakeholders, particularly teams in Australia and the UK

What you’ll bring

• Solid background in systems and network administration
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• 5+ years in cloud or infrastructure engineering roles
• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning (Terraform, etc.)
• Expertise managing Windows and Linux environments in an automated fashion
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and infrastructure
• Experience with security tools (CrowdStrike, Wiz) and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2)
• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Elastic, Zabbix, or Prometheus
• Ability to champion an infrastructure-as-code mindset
• Clear communication skills in highly technical environments
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to build and communicate a forward-looking infrastructure roadmap
