My client, a privately held food manufacturing and ingredients company, in Morristown NJ has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a hybrid opportunity (2 days in office).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintained and enhanced BluePlanner to ensure accurate pricing, promotions, customer hierarchies, and trade budgets, applying best practices in process improvement and data integrity.
• Provided hands-on support to Sales Managers, guiding tool navigation and system functionality, and championing user adoption.
• Audited and optimized system entries, proactively identifying discrepancies and driving continuous improvement.
• Conducted post-promotional analysis using syndicated data (e.g., IRI), calculating ROI, identifying performance drivers, and recommending actionable improvements.
• Led quarterly trade reviews, collaborating with Sales Managers to highlight insights, review ROI, and define corrective actions.
• Maintained and optimized reporting tools and dashboards, supporting Sales, Business Systems, and Operations teams.
• Identified opportunities to automate, standardize, and streamline reporting processes, driving operational efficiency.
• Translated complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in sales support, analytics, trade marketing, FP& A, or demand planning—CPG experience preferred.
• Experience with IRI, Nielsen, or syndicated POS data is strongly desired.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, and planning tools (BluePlanner is a plus).
