Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000

This organization is a dominant force in the modernization of the North American power grid, specializing in the delivery of massive solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) that frequently scale beyond 300MW. They are seeking a Senior Director of Construction to take full strategic and operational ownership of their utility-scale solar and BESS portfolio. In this executive-level role, you will oversee a high-performing construction division, managing multiple large-scale teams and ensuring that every project meets the rigorous standards of technical performance and safety. You will serve as the primary liaison between the organization and major utilities and vendors, navigating the complexities of large-scale site execution to deliver reliable renewable infrastructure on a national scale.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• 15+ years of comprehensive professional experience overseeing large-scale construction projects
• Extensive and direct experience managing utility-scale solar developments with a focus on projects exceeding 100MW
• A proven track record of successfully managing and directing multiple large-scale construction teams simultaneously
• Significant technical exposure or specific experience in the construction of large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is preferred
• The ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate with major utility providers and national equipment vendors
• Deep expertise in high-voltage safety protocols and the regulatory requirements associated with massive renewable energy sites
• Strong strategic leadership skills with the capacity to manage a diverse national project portfolio at an executive level
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or a closely related technical field is preferred, but not needed
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for coordinating with executive leadership and outside agencies
