Role Overview
Breakthru Beauty is seeking a highly organized and commercially minded Senior Account Manager to support the day-to-day management and growth of beauty brands across key retail accounts.
This role blends retailer account management, commercialization support, retail marketing coordination, launch execution, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate understands how brands grow within retail environments and is excited to help support both the operational and growth-driving aspects of retailer partnerships.
This person will work closely with the Head of Accounts, internal team members, brand founders, distributors, and retailer partners to help drive strong execution, communication, and business.
This role is a contract & remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
· Support day-to-day management of retailer accounts such as ULTA Beauty or Sephora
· Manage ongoing retailer and client communication across assigned accounts
· Help oversee launches, assortment updates, promotional timelines, and retailer deliverables
· Coordinate retailer follow-ups, meeting recaps, agendas, and action items
Retail Strategy & Growth Support
· Support forecasting, inventory tracking, replenishment management, and retailer planning coordination
· Monitor business performance and identify risks, opportunities, and sell-through trends
· Help support retailer marketing initiatives including digital activations, retail media opportunities, sampling, promotions, and merchandising support
· Assist in developing retailer growth recommendations and identifying opportunities to improve performance within retail environments
Cross-Functional Coordination
· Collaborate closely with internal account operations team members to ensure timelines and launch milestones remain on track
· Coordinate with brands, distributors, retailers, and external partners across multiple workstreams
· Support launch readiness across digital, merchandising, marketing, education, and operational deliverables
· Contribute to process improvements and scalable operational practices as the agency grows
Ideal Candidate
· 4–7 years experience in beauty retail account management, commercialization, trade marketing, or retail operations
· Strong familiarity with Ulta Beauty and/or Sephora ecosystems
· Understanding of retail marketing levers including retail media, promotions, digital placements, education, and merchandising
· Comfortable balancing analytical thinking with relationship management and execution
· Highly organized with strong ownership mentality and follow-through
· Thrives in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments flexibility and adaptability are important
· Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite application
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· Collaborative team player comfortable working across multiple brands and projects simultaneously
· Passion for beauty, emerging brands, and retail growth strategy
