Job Summary

Promotional Marketing Account roles at AOR are responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive brand growth and engagement across both traditional and digital channels. These roles bridge the gap between clients and creative teams, overseeing integrated campaigns, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring every initiative aligns with client objectives. Success comes from combining strategic insight, digital campaign management, data-driven decision making, and a commitment to elevating client brands through comprehensive promotional and digital marketing

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for developing, maintaining, and assessing client accounts while nurturing long-term, favorable relationships with clients. This role acts as a strategic partner, crafting and executing solutions tailored to client objectives, driving business growth, and serving as a trusted liaison for complex engagements.

Job Responsibilities And Skills

  • Develop and grow high-value client relationships by deeply understanding client business needs and industry challenges.
  • Gather and analyze information from clients, external partners, and internal teams to inform decision-making and actionable recommendations.
  • Craft targeted strategies based on thorough analysis of internal and external factors, ensuring alignment with both client and company goals.
  • Design, implement, and manage strategic action plans, tracking progress and results throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Make well-informed, data-driven recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular, clear communication with clients at every stage, ensuring satisfaction and proactive issue resolution.
  • Lead or participate in contract negotiations and high-value proposals for complex deals.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior account staff, fostering skill development and team success.
  • Handle moderately complex to highly complex account issues independently, escalating only the most significant matters to higher management.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and ensure clients are receiving optimal, up-to-date solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus).
  • Typically requires 3+ years of progressive experience in account management, client services, or B2B sales, with a successful record of driving revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Expertise in CRM software, project management tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Advanced customer/client orientation and consultative skills
  • Originality and analytical thinking for strategic problem-solving.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and decision-making acumen.
