Robert Half has a local Salt Lake City client that is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join their growing digital marketing team!

Must reside in Utah

Hybrid schedule – 2 days per week onsite in Salt Lake City

Contract Opportunity (1 year)

Are you an SEO expert who enjoys balancing technical optimization with content strategy and creation? This role offers the opportunity to drive organic growth, improve website performance, and help shape SEO best practices across a large-scale digital environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Spend 50% of your time driving technical SEO initiatives and 50% creating and optimizing content

Identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues impacting site performance

Monitor indexing, crawlability, and overall website health Partner with web development and operations teams to implement SEO improvements

Research keyword opportunities and develop SEO strategies

Write and optimize SEO-focused content for websites, blogs, and landing pages

Improve page structure, internal linking, and search visibility

Track performance and provide SEO reporting and recommendations

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of SEO experience

Strong technical SEO expertise

Exceptional SEO writing and content optimization skills

Soft Skills:

Able to mentor and guide junior team members without directly managing them

Comfortable partnering with leadership and sharing best practices across the team
