We are currently seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team.
Job Description:
As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by leveraging sales tools to conduct highly targeted prospecting efforts. Your primary goal will be to schedule meetings and qualify prospects to generate quality leads for our sales team. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to identify and engage potential clients, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prospecting activities using sales tools and platforms to identify potential clients and decision-makers within target industries.
- Leverage various channels such as email, phone calls, social media, and other relevant platforms to initiate contact with prospects.
- Research and gather information on prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and challenges to effectively engage with them.
- Articulate our agency's value proposition and service offerings to prospects, highlighting the benefits and addressing any inquiries or objections.
- Qualify leads by assessing their fit with our target customer profile, identifying their level of interest, and evaluating their potential for conversion.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads, providing comprehensive and accurate information to facilitate successful meetings.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities, interactions, and outcomes in our CRM system.
- Continuously monitor and optimize prospecting strategies, incorporating feedback and insights from the sales team to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
- Meet and exceed assigned targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, prospect engagement, and scheduled meetings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Sales Development Representative, Inside Sales Representative, or in a similar role, preferably within a marketing agency or B2B sales environment.
- Proven track record of successfully prospecting and qualifying leads using sales tools and platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage prospects effectively and build rapport.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and personalized emails and messages.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets and KPIs.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using sales tools and platforms for prospecting and lead generation.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage a high volume of prospecting activities.
- Knowledge of marketing industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Education & Experience:
- Candidates must have a minimum 2 years of experience in outbound prospecting.
- Bachelor’s degree: ideally with emphasis in communications, marketing, advertising, or related field preferred but not required with comparable experience.
- Self-starting, strategic thinker who is able to thrive in a creative and independent environment.
- Experience with basic business software and CRM systems.
Office Location:
Hidden River Parkway (Fletcher & I-75) - this role reports onsite 5 days/week (Mon - Fri)
