PURPOSE OF JOB : Provides seamless registration/reception/scheduling services at the Cancer Institute of Doylestown Hospital. Acts as a resource to and Liaison between infusion services and referring physicians and office staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Provides excellent customer service by obtaining accurate information in a confidential and respectful manner.
Accurately registers patients in Meditech software system.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills in all interactions with internal and external customers including patients, physicians, nurses and support staff.
Actively participates in and supports departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals.
Job Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education: High School or equivalent is required
Hospital insurance experience and patient access experience required. Clerical and receptionist experience required. Previous Meditech experience preferred.
