Are you an experienced project leader passionate about renewable energy? Gridworks is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects. In this role, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project execution, from planning and budgeting to commissioning and closeout.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of project management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, and closeout.
Develop and implement comprehensive execution strategies, logistics plans, and communication protocols to ensure alignment across teams.
Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance to achieve safety, quality, and production milestones.
Drive project financial performance through proactive cost tracking, forecasting, invoicing, and change management processes.
Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain trust and transparency throughout project delivery.
Ensure all work adheres to company safety policies, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
Facilitate weekly leadership meetings to review progress, address risks, and reinforce accountability across project teams.
Monitor project risks and opportunities; develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and profitability goals.
Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers and team members to support career growth and promote operational excellence.
Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list completion, subcontractor reconciliation, documentation, and lessons learned.
Work Environment
Able to work and maneuver in a construction environment.
Willing and able to travel to jobsites.
Working conditions: construction jobsites, noisy conditions, extreme temperature conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Highly proficient in technical aspects of utility Solar PV and BESS construction
5+ years of construction project management experience required
Strong working knowledge of complex electrical systems and components
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Self-starter with strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and commitment to producing high quality work product, and ability to multi-task under tight time pressures
Must have valid driver’s license & clean driving record
