Project Executive

We are partnered with a leading West Coast general contractor to identify a Project Executive to support the continued growth of their Seattle operations. This organization is recognized for delivering complex, technical projects across life sciences, healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, and commercial environments, with a strong reputation for collaborative delivery and repeat client relationships.

This role will provide strategic leadership across multiple concurrent projects and project teams while supporting client engagement, preconstruction strategy, and operational execution across the region.

Base Salary: $225,000 – $265,000

Position Overview

The Project Executive will oversee the successful delivery of multiple complex construction projects from early planning through closeout, ensuring alignment with client expectations, schedule performance, safety standards, and financial objectives.

This individual will play a key leadership role supporting project teams while partnering closely with operations and preconstruction leadership on negotiated opportunities and repeat-client programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple concurrent projects and project teams
• Lead project strategy from preconstruction through execution and closeout
• Support business development efforts alongside senior leadership
• Strengthen and maintain long-term client relationships across technical project sectors
• Guide project teams on risk management, schedule strategy, and cost control
• Partner with preconstruction teams during budgeting and pursuit phases
• Mentor Project Managers and emerging operations leaders
• Ensure projects align with company safety, quality, and operational standards
• Support delivery of negotiated and collaborative delivery projects
• Participate in regional planning and operational forecasting

Ideal Candidate Background

• 15+ years of experience in commercial construction leadership roles
• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects or programs
• Background delivering technical projects such as healthcare, lab, higher-ed, or advanced interiors strongly preferred
• Proven ability managing client relationships and negotiated work environments
• Experience mentoring Project Managers and supporting team development
• Strong understanding of preconstruction strategy and cost planning
• Regional experience in the Pacific Northwest preferred
