Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Product Owner to support our client in Irving, TX. This role will be responsible for translating user demand into a clear product vision and strategy for features within a Customer Portal platform.


You’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders, field teams, and engineering—ensuring that customer needs are translated into actionable priorities and delivered effectively. This is a highly collaborative role with strong visibility across IT leadership, scrum teams, and end users.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the product vision for the Customer Portal, aligning business goals with user needs
  • Translate stakeholder demand into a well-defined, prioritized product backlog
  • Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria, documentation, and mockups as needed
  • Lead and actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives)
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to guide UX and workflow decisions, balancing usability and technical feasibility
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support release validation activities
  • Act as a key point of contact for super users—triaging issues, gathering feedback, and driving enhancements
  • Collaborate across IT teams (scrum teams, infrastructure, training, etc.) to manage dependencies and ensure successful delivery
  • Continuously improve processes, backlog quality, and delivery outcomes
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned to short- and long-term strategy
  • Incorporate feedback from customers, leadership, and stakeholders into product direction
  • Drive product adoption through communication, training, and rollout support
  • Define and track KPIs to measure performance, engagement, and adoption
  • Support release planning, including feature readiness and go-live coordination
  • Monitor delivery progress and proactively escalate risks or issues


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar product-focused role
  • Experience delivering customer-facing digital products (eCommerce platforms, portals, or web applications) end-to-end
  • Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in wholesale distribution or similar industries
  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps and Confluence
  • Experience with multi-tenant eCommerce platforms
  • Exposure to Salesforce-based site development
