Product Manager

We are seeking a senior Product Manager to support a major platform modernization initiative focused on containerized, cloud-based software distribution. This role will partner closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams to define requirements and user experiences for Linux-based containerized APIs used in shipping and logistics workflows.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has designed or supported cloud-based containerized software for external customers and can translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own requirements definition for containerized platform capabilities including build, deployment, security, monitoring, and operational support
• Translate business and technical needs into well-structured epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Facilitate discovery sessions, backlog refinement, and requirements workshops with engineering, DevOps, security, and operations teams
• Act as the primary bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities throughout the development lifecycle
• Support Agile / SAFe delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and acceptance validation
• Document platform workflows, deployment models, and operational processes to support onboarding and production handoff
• Gather feedback from internal platform users and external stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and improve platform usability
• Help define success metrics and track adoption of container services to ensure business and user needs are met

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with container ecosystems such as Docker, Kubernetes, container registries, and orchestration platforms
• Proven experience designing, supporting, or delivering cloud-based containerized software, ideally for external customers
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and service integration patterns
• Experience supporting internal developer platforms or developer productivity initiatives
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe product environments
• Strong ability to translate complex technical architectures into clear requirements and user stories

This role can pay up to $70/hr but this is dependent on your expertise in this space. That said, if you are above or below this pay rate but fit the description, still apply as this can always be negotiated!
