Overview The Procurement Operations Manager is responsible for improving procurement processes, overseeing systems support, and enabling leadership to focus on strategic initiatives. This role serves as the central coordination point for procurement operations, managing request intake, prioritization, and cross‑functional alignment across the Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) lifecycle.
This role is hybrid, on-site 3 days a week in Irving, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Manage and develop the Procurement Systems Administrator.
Set priorities, goals, and service standards for procurement systems support.
Provide escalation guidance for system issues including Coupa, cXML, and supplier‑related inquiries.
Operational Management
Serve as the primary intake point for procurement operational and system requests.
Track, prioritize, and communicate status of requests and initiatives.
Improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Support smooth handoffs to Accounts Payable for invoicing and payment workflows.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Accounts Payable, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of procurement‑to‑pay processes.
Act as a subject matter expert for cross‑functional projects impacting procurement.
Systems & Tools
Oversee effective use of procurement systems; experience with Coupa is strongly preferred.
Support system adoption, user guidance, and optimization in partnership with the Systems Administrator.
Ensure proper governance, documentation, and process controls.
Leadership Support & Reporting
Reduce operational workload for procurement leadership by managing tactical activities.
Provide metrics, insights, and operational reporting to guide decision‑making.
Monitor trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement operations or S2P environments.
Experience leading or managing team members preferred.
Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end S2P processes and procurement systems (Coupa preferred).
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
