A leading sector-focused private equity firm is looking to hire a Private Equity Associate to join their team in Los Angeles or New York.

The firm specializes in investments across the food and beverage ecosystem, partnering with businesses across categories such as restaurants, snacks, packaged foods, and consumer brands.

They have built a strong track record of partnering with founders and management teams to scale category-leading businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new investment opportunities across the consumer sector with a focus on food & beverage
• Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials
• Conduct industry and company research to support investment theses
• Assist with transaction execution including due diligence and deal structuring
• Work closely with senior team members and portfolio company management on value creation initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity
• Coverage experience in Consumer, ideally within food, beverage, restaurants, or packaged foods
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Interest in working 4 days a week in office in LA or NYC
