You will orchestrate a thorough review process alongside our legal and engineering teams, while actively contributing to the evolution of privacy practices within the organization. - Location: Remote (within 100 miles of Seattle, WA)
- Schedule: M-F
- Pay Comments: W2, weekly pay, benefits, 401k w/ match
- Background screening required
- Managing the end-to-end privacy review process, ensuring requests are accurately captured, triaged, and processed efficiently.
- Monitoring incoming requests for prioritization, completeness, and compliance, proactively addressing any gaps with submitters.
- Aligning requests with business priorities and transparently communicating status and timelines to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, engineering, product, and operations, to ensure alignment and accountability throughout the review lifecycle.
- Playing a critical support role in high-visibility, emergency aversion processes related to domestic and international privacy incidents, potentially involving on-call or 24/7 monitoring.
- Coordinating with global leaders and cross-regional teams during active emergency scenarios, demonstrating composure and sound judgment.
- Continuously evaluating workflows and identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve operational processes in partnership with technical teams.
- Supporting the development of privacy communications and branding initiatives, applying a design sensibility to create clear, compelling, and on-brand materials.
- Drafting and refining written communications, including team updates, stakeholder documentation, training materials, and program announcements.
- Must-Have Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally within privacy, marketing, or data governance.
- Strong understanding of core privacy principles, frameworks, and review processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
- Experience supporting incident response or emergency management processes, with comfort managing on-call responsibilities.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Proficiency with workflow management tools and collaboration platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for privacy and a curiosity for its intersection with technology, marketing, and user experience.
- Ability to context-switch with ease, managing multiple projects and priorities without losing sight of details.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to build trust quickly with diverse teams across functions, levels, and geographies.
- Composure and sound judgment in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations, including emergency scenarios.
- An innovative mindset that challenges the status quo and looks for smarter, more efficient ways of working.
- A design eye and communication instinct that helps translate complex privacy concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to grow, adapt, and learn quickly.
- Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
- Experience developing branded content or internal education programs.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks.
- Experience in a global organization with cross-regional teams.
- CIPP or other privacy certification.
