Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Position: Associate - PE Secondaries (both GP-led and LP secondaries)
Our Client is a multi-billion global private equity firm headquartered in New York City specializing in secondary investments in leveraged buyout funds, as well as co-investments alongside those general partners. The firm seeks an Associate to assist in assessing potential secondary and co-investments, and in managing its existing portfolio.
- Assist the investment team in conducting due diligence on various private equity funds and managers and assess the merits of investment opportunities
- Review annual and quarterly reports and financial statements of LBO/venture/energy/mezzanine funds;
- Analyze the long-term viability of portfolio companies, the market for their products/services, their financing needs, and the fund's exit options;
- Participate in deal meetings to determine price, structuring and negotiation tactics;
- Portfolio management, quarterly and annual portfolio reporting;
- Prepare investment analysis for presentation to the Investment Committee
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or investment management
Note: candidates with 1-2 years of experience will be considered a Senior Analyst
