Mechanical Design Engineer

A large manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and execute mechanical engineering projects from concept through deployment on the manufacturing floor. This role blends hands-on technical work with project ownership and mentorship, supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and performance across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can also collaborate cross-functionally, manage multiple engineering initiatives, and provide technical leadership to other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, analyze, and test mechanical systems to ensure performance, reliability, cost, schedule, and compliance with all applicable requirements and specifications
• Lead and coordinate engineering tasks for projects as an individual contributor and as part of cross-functional teams
• Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept development through final implementation on the manufacturing floor
• Create, maintain, and deliver engineering documentation including designs, analyses, specifications, and test results
• Investigate and apply emerging engineering technologies to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency
• Mentor and guide other engineering professionals, modeling strong technical and professional engineering standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
• Perform additional engineering duties and responsibilities as assigned

Compensation:

$120,000 to $135,000 per year annual salary.
