About the Company

We are partnering with a well-established contract manufacturer with over 30 years of experience producing precision components including wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical control panels for OEMs.

Serving industries such as Critical Power, Industrial Automation, Oil & Gas, Medical, HVAC, Food & Beverage, Aviation, and Defense, this organization is known for its commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. Their operations are structured, audit-ready, and built around strong process discipline — while continuing to evolve and grow.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join a highly collaborative Quality team, with a strong focus on supporting production and driving quality directly on the manufacturing floor.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role — not just maintaining systems, but actively working alongside production teams to improve processes, resolve issues in real-time, and ensure consistent product quality.

The ideal candidate understands how manufacturing environments operate and is comfortable being embedded in production, partnering with operators, supervisors, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

This role reports directly to the VP of Quality and plays a key role in bridging quality and production operations.

  • Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues
  • Support implementation of PFMEA and Control Plans

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations

Documentation & Process Control

  • Maintain and update quality documentation and procedures
  • Work within SharePoint and internal systems to ensure documentation accuracy
  • Ensure proper version control and accessibility of quality records

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, NPI, and Operations teams
  • Support training initiatives for production and quality staff
  • Assist in driving a culture of quality and accountability across the floor
