LLM Integration Architect

AI / LLM Integration Engineer

I’m working with a large government contractor’s research division that’s looking to bring on a Senior AI/LLM Integration Engineer to help integrate large language models into real-world applications.

This role is focused on Python-based LLM integration using LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP, working alongside a highly technical engineering team building structured AI workflows and production systems in a research-driven environment. The work involves connecting AI tools to internal systems and developing practical applications of LLM technology in a secure government setting.

What they’re looking for:

• Strong Python engineering background
• Experience integrating LLMs into existing applications
• LangChain and/or LangGraph experience
• Experience building AI workflows, APIs, or RAG pipelines
• U.S. Citizen based in the continental U.S.
• Comfortable working in a government/defense environment

Role details:

• Long-term contract with strong extension potential
• Remote within the continental U.S.
• Working with a very technical engineering and research team
• Focus on real-world AI integration, not research or prompt engineering
