Junior Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid)

Duration: 6+ month contract

Compensation: $30.00 Hourly

Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support risk and compliance operations by reviewing cases, assessing potential risks, maintaining case management records, and providing reporting and operational support to internal stakeholders. This role will work within a case management environment to ensure accurate documentation, timely issue escalation, and effective tracking of risk-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate incoming cases to identify potential risks, compliance concerns, or operational issues.
• Assess risk factors and flag matters requiring further investigation or escalation.
• Maintain and update records within the case management system (Speak Up or similar platform).
• Add, update, and manage user and case information within internal systems.
• Generate reports and provide analysis related to case activity, risk trends, and operational metrics.
• Monitor case progress and ensure accurate documentation throughout the case lifecycle.
• Support ad hoc requests, research, and operational initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of cases and compliance with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Business Analyst, Risk Analyst, Compliance Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with reporting and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience working with case management systems is preferred.
