We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, knowledge of modern cloud technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop reliable, maintainable applications using Java and Spring Boot

Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices

Write clean, well-tested code following established engineering standards

Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies

Improve application performance, security, reliability, and scalability

Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments

Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders

Maintain technical documentation and contribute to engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience

Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases

Experience with unit testing and test automation

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with Kafka or other event-driven technologies

Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

Experience with SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

Understanding of application security and performance optimization

Front-end experience with Angular or React is a plus
