We’re building the world’s largest alternative asset manager the smart way and are seeking dynamic professionals who want to be part of this journey.

The Role

We’re looking for an IT Administrator who wants to own IT, not just support it. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be the go-to for everything from end-user support → systems automation → identity & access → device management. You’ll play a key role in building and scaling our IT function as the company grows. If you’re someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and making people’s day-to-day work easier, this role will give you a lot of autonomy and visibility.

What You’ll Own

End-User Support (Windows + macOS)

  • Act as the primary IT contact for internal teams
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues quickly and effectively
  • Own and prioritize the helpdesk queue to minimize downtime

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive IT workflows
  • Build scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for onboarding, offboarding, and provisioning
  • Continuously improve how IT operates as the company scales

Identity & Access Management

  • Manage users, roles, and permissions across O365, Google Workspace, and SSO (SAML/SCIM)
  • Own the joiner / mover / leaver lifecycle in partnership with HR
  • Ensure secure, timely access provisioning (Rippling or similar tools)

Device & Asset Management

  • Own the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement → deployment → tracking → retirement)
  • Maintain clean, accurate inventory across hardware and software

Systems & Network Support

  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues across office and remote environments
  • Support core systems that keep the business running day-to-day

What Makes Someone Successful Here

  • You’re comfortable being a one-person IT function (for now)
  • You move quickly but don’t cut corners on user experience
  • You look for ways to automate instead of repeat
  • You can balance support tickets + longer-term improvements
  • You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams

Requirements

  • 4+ years in an IT Administrator, IT Generalist, or similar role
  • Experience supporting Windows + macOS environments
  • Strong experience with O365 and/or Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with SSO (SAML, SCIM) and identity management
  • Comfortable working in-office in Midtown NYC 3 days/week

Nice to Have

  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience with Rippling (or similar MDM/HRIS tools)
  • Endpoint security tools (e.g., SentinelOne)
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Google Workspace, CompTIA, etc.)
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Why This Role

  • Opportunity to own and shape IT at a growing company
  • High visibility across the business
  • Mix of hands-on support + systems building + automation
  • Real impact on how the company scales
