Indirect Tax Manager

Twin Eagle Resource Management, LLC is looking for an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join the Tax team and to assist with the tax and reporting requirements of the Wholesale Energy Commodities business. The qualified candidate will have strong quantitative and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in basic accounting functions. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required, as well as experience in indirect tax compliance. This position will initially report to the Vice President of Tax.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and review Sales and Use tax & Utility tax return
• Maintain tax records e.g. general ledger balances, Sale report and tax paid invoices
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of tax professionals
• Assist with preparation of State and Federal audits
• Contribute on special projects as necessary
• Collaborate and work effectively with peers in Settlements, Trading Back Office Operations, AP, Treasury, etc
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is Required
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Accounting and Tax
• Experience managing a small team of tax professionals
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-disciplined in a hybrid work environment
