• Previous work experience in formulation development department with good experience in formulation development, process development.

The Formulation Product Development Scientist develops and optimizes formulas for powders, tablets, capsules, soft chews, pellets, and liquid products. The role supports bench‑scale development, pilot batching, scale‑up, and technical transfer to manufacturing while ensuring product quality, stability, and compliance with cGMP requirements.

Key Duties:

• Support and lead formula development, reformulation, and process improvement projects.
• Work with Product Development staff on pilot batches and scale‑up batches; collect data for in‑process parameters and finished product specs.
• Perform bench trials, physical evaluations, and testing to support alternate material approvals.
• Direct Product Development Technicians in data collection and processing.
• Train manufacturing associates on new processes and process improvements.
• Assist in developing new formulations using new active raw materials.
• Conduct studies with new equipment to improve soft chew manufacturing processes or formulations.
• Prepare and approve Master Batch Records and Change Control Requests.
• Follow all applicable cGMP processes and documentation requirements.
• Compile and summarize stability data.
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing and Operations; monitor initial production batches.
• Attend expos and conferences to support continued education and apply new knowledge.
• Communicate effectively across departments and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry ,Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• Formulation/process development
• Experience working in a cGMP environment with understanding of cGMP principles.
• Experience working on cross‑functional teams.
• Possesses applied knowledge of root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques. Able to apply statistical analyses and experimental design techniques.
• Must have knowledge of cGMPs, Quality Concepts, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
