Finance Associate

Working with a well-backed alternative investment platform in NYC that’s continuing to build out its finance team. This is a true fund finance seat with exposure across the full lifecycle - not a siloed role.

The group is lean and pretty sharp, so you’ll be hands-on across NAV, capital activity, and investor reporting, while also getting visibility into the underlying investments and how the firm actually operates day-to-day.

Responsibilities:

• Support quarterly NAV closes across multiple fund vehicles
• Review capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers
• Assist with investor reporting and LP inquiries
• Get involved in ad hoc projects tied to new fund launches and process improvements

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in public accounting (financial services) or fund accounting
• Exposure to private equity, credit, or hedge funds
• Strong understanding of fund structures and capital activity
• CPA or progress toward it is a plus
