Entry Level Designer

About the Role: Our client is looking for an entry level Engineering Designer to join the team. This is an onsite role that works 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with half days on Fridays. There is full training provided on processes and the software utilized. This is an entry level role with room to grow within the company!

Responsibilities:

• Designing work orders for power distribution projects, working in a corporate office environment
• Communicating with customers and providing status updates

Qualifications:

• Completed AS or BS degree in Engineering, Technology, Construction, etc OR 1+ years of design experience with CAD related software or GIS
• Strong and proven customer service skills

Required Skills:

• Ability to work onsite.
• Has reliable transportation.
• Ability to learn new software.

Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience with CAD/GIS/design.
• Interest or background in utilities, telecom, commercial wiring or power space.
