Entry Level Analyst

Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm, is seeking an Entry Level Analyst in their Boston, MA location.

The Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of all trade activity into the accounting system while supporting core securities processing functions across the firm’s business lines. This role plays a critical part in trade control execution, cash management, reconciliation, issue resolution, and 529 plan administration, helping to minimize risk and maintain operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all trades (straight-through processed and manual) are accurately recorded in the accounting system
• Reconcile trades between order management and trade processing systems
• Research and resolve trade price deviations and discrepancies with appropriate stakeholders
• Manage daily cash flow trading activities with investment companies, including trade confirmation oversight
• Coordinate cash-raising activities for fund portfolios to support expense payments (e.g., management fees)
• Oversee portfolio reallocation events to ensure alignment with target allocations
• Provide cash projections to clients and internal stakeholders using multiple reporting tools
• Validate systemic feeds and manual adjustments to ensure accurate and timely cash reporting
• Communicate proactively with internal and external partners to ensure proper trade accountability and risk mitigation
• Partner closely with Trade Processing to maintain operational efficiency and strong team collaboration

Qualifications & Skills:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong PC and systems proficiency
• Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues effectively
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a team setting
