$150,000 to $180,000 base + Annual Bonus

I’m working with a rapidly growing manufacturer in the power distribution space that’s looking to bring in an Engineering Manager to lead and scale an expanding team of mechanical and electrical engineers.

This role is a strong fit for someone who wants more than just day-to-day management. The business is going through a period of growth and process improvement, so you’ll have the opportunity to shape how the engineering function operates, build out the team, and put structure in place as they continue to scale.

It’s a high-visibility role where you’ll be working closely with operations, project management, and leadership, with a direct impact on delivery, performance, and future growth.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and developing a growing engineering team across electrical and mechanical disciplines
• Exposure to Switchgear or Panelboard manufacturing.
• Owning engineering output, ensuring drawings and deliverables are accurate and on time
• Partnering with sales, operations, and project teams to support production and customer commitments
• Balancing workloads and resources across multiple projects
• Identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements in processes, workflows, and design standards
• Using data and metrics to improve performance and accountability
• Playing a key role in scaling the team and building a stronger engineering function

What we're looking for:

• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience working with low or medium voltage power distribution equipment
• Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or engineered-to-order environment
• Someone who has driven process improvements and can operate in a changing environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
