Director/Sr. Director, Project Development

We're partnered with a PE-backed, utility-scale IPP looking to add to their established development team. They're continuing to grow post-OBBBA, and remain committed to multi-tech (wind, solar, and BESS), multi-market execution.

What You'll Do:

• Own and execute strategy in ERCOT and MISO, leading full-cycle development of wind, solar, and battery storage projects
• Identify and pursue greenfield development and acquisition opportunities across the Central Region
• Lead real estate efforts and advance projects through permitting, interconnection, and commercial milestones, working with AHJs, community stakeholders, commercial offtakers, and utilities
• Manage a lean, internal regional development team and 3rd party consultants, collaborating with finance, engineering, legal, and origination teams

What You'll Bring:

• 7+ years of utility-scale renewables project development experience, with a strong background in land, interconnection, and permitting
• Proven experience successfully developing 1 or more wind project from inception to financial close in ERCOT and/or MISO; Solar and battery storage experience are a plus, wind execution is required
• Strong commercial acumen - experience negotiating and signing PPAs and offtake agreements
• Comfort operating in a hands-on project execution role across a large portfolio, and representing the company in front of project/local stakeholders
• Willingness to travel regularly to Texas and the Central US (~30%)
